Question: Your active international activity in implementing the concept of «ÌIG» Company strategic development led to conclusion of several agreements. Our readers are definitely interested both in how the concept was developed and in the form of the concluded agreements.
Answer: The existing concept of «ÌIG» Company strategic development was worked out and approved back in the year 2005. Of course, it was being developed not in one day. It is the result of a long and thorough process of deep and detailed analysis of numerous factors, determining trends and dynamics of development of these or that processes, forecasting various events. Finally there was worked out a complex of steps actually aimed at structuring and developing «ÌIG» Company as a structure of international level. It means the structure being a player at the international market, developing in accordance with international principles of making business and with international quality standards in executing works, managing business processes and conducting financial activities.
Obviously, in this connection the issues of «ÌIG» Company international activity, its integration into the international security services’ market became one of the most important. Part of this activities are creation of strategic alliances with other participants of the international market, working out and executing in practice new marketing solutions, creating new joint products including unique ones.
In two years which have passed from the moment the concept was approved we succeeded in many things. In particular, starting 2006 «ÌIG» Company actively works in Ukraine through its subsidiary - «ÌIG - Êiåv» managing company. «ÌIG» Company became the member and active participant of several international organizations represented in Russia: the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia, the Russo-British Chamber of Commerce, the Association of European Businesses in Russia, the British Business Club. There were defined and fixed by a corresponding memorandum the partnership relations with Bosch Security Systems — recognized world leader in development, production and implementation of integrated security systems. There were signed marketing agreements with the companies DRUM Resources (UK) and AXOM International (Germany). So today potential «ÌIG» Company clients have possibility to discuss and choose optimal variants of using security services at the territory of the Russian Federation and Ukraine, agree prices and sign contracts directly in London or Berlin. It is important that such discussions can take place within the same mentality, same terminology, and same approach to principles of work, making business and providing services: in London — with Englishmen, in Berlin — with Germans.
It should be also noted that due to having installed close business relations with foreign colleagues today «ÌIG» Company already has considerably expanded its possibilities in providing security services to its clients out of Russia’s boundaries: in the UK, Germany, France, Portugal, in the USA, in several African countries.
Question: Which criteria have determined the choice of Your foreign partners, in particular «BOSCH» and «DRUM RESOURCES LTD»?
Answer: The primary issue was even not the criteria but the motives of all the parties in starting this or that business partnership, às well as ability of the parties to come up to mutual expectations.
As regards partnership with Bosch, I’ll tell about «ÌIG» Company motives. I think that it would be correct to ask the question about the motives of our partners to themselves. So, it is important to «ÌIG» Company to have a strategic partner able to work out and implement best quality sophisticated projects of providing security using technical facilities. I think it’s no revelation that intellectual and functional resources of Bosch Security Systems ñonsiderably exceed resources of any Russian designing-installation structure, not to mention units of private security enterprises engaged in designing and installing security-fire signaling. It is especially pressing issue keeping in mind that in Russia there grows demand in equipping and re-equipping many industrial enterprises, storage terminals, pipelines, municipal sites with modern technical facilities. So, instead of “catching up and overcoming” using own designing-installation structures «ÌIG» Company chose the way of business partnership with the leader. Fortunately, we had something to offer in return, namely our managing and marketing infrastructure operating at vast territory of Russia.
Talking about the relations with DRUM Resources, the history of our relations dates back to the year 1999. So it’s not really a matter of choosing a new partner and starting a new relationship, but rather a matter of developing old business partnership on the basis of new abilities of the parties. It should be specially noted that DRUM Resources for a long time has a subsidiary in Russia, the company management understands well the processes taking place at the Russian market, knows «ÌIG» Company and its abilities well. So DRUM Resources completely corresponds to the main objective of the marketing agreement signed in May 2007 — functioning as «sales office», selling the services provided by «ÌIG» Company in the Russian Federation and Ukraine.
